  37. If this is the ONLY device on the SCSI bus, it sounds like it is trying
  38. to boot from the drive - it WILL hang for quite awhile before it gives up
  39. and finishes booting. This happens to my system if I do not have a CDROM
  40. installed in the drive. You may be able to either 1) remove the BOOT ROM from
  41. the controller and install the driver in the expansion drawer 2) disable the
  42. BOOT rom with a jumper on the card (sorry, don't remember which one or 3)
  43. try to move your HD (if you have one) to a smaller ID #.
